Position Overview
The customs analyst is responsible for verifying and processing customs documentation for immediate release. Must be able to work effectively while under pressure to meet deadlines and be able to work with other team members. Holiday work may be required.
Work Schedule
Midnight Shift - Tuesday to Saturday: 1:00 AM - 9:00 AM (Working from Home)
- 8-hour shift (one hour lunch plus two fifteen‑minute breaks)
- Tuesday to Saturday, 1:00 AM to 9:00 AM
- Training is during the day, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Customs knowledge – experience with Air and Highway modes of transportation
- Experience handling Meat/Egg shipments, CFIA, TPL permits and other permits
- Strong knowledge of the customs tariff, regulations and customs act
