Role Overview
The role holder is responsible for the installation of elevators and escalators at the client site, following defined installation and workplace safety procedures and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspects incoming materials at the site against the purchase order, confirms order completion, and assesses product damage. Prepares checklists for missing or damaged goods to facilitate replacements.
- Liaises with the building contractor/representative to coordinate civil works and align installation schedules with other trades.
- Inspects vertical alignment of the lift shaft and evaluates shafts, door openings, and pit escalators against shop drawings.
- Installs machine room equipment, hoist way, pit, hall equipment, rails, and doors according to shop drawings.
- Submits an installation checklist to the Team Lead – Installations upon completion of each installation step.
