Join our expanding Telecommunications team in Manitoba as an Equipment Operator. You will specialize in backhoe operation to assist with crucial construction projects efficiently and safely.
In this role, you'll report to the Project Manager and need expertise in soil mechanics, collaborating closely with geotechnical engineers. From placing telecommunication structures to managing daily equipment inspections, your contributions will drive project success while maintaining strict safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate backhoe equipment safely and properly
• Collaborate on geotechnical soil density assessments
• Install underground and overhead telecom cables
• Conduct daily equipment safety checks
• Participate in labor activities and safety meetings
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience with backhoe operation
