Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and skilled Equipment Operators with experience operating trucks and tractor-trailers to support our busy shiploading season. This is a hands‑on role requiring a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate tandem trucks, tractor-trailers, and related equipment safely and efficiently
- Transport materials to and from loading areas, ensuring timely delivery for shiploading operations
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials as required
- Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of equipment
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and team members
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Support general site operations as needed during peak periods
