The Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) is seeking a proactive and technically competent EOC cum Information Management (IM) Officer to support the operation of the Emergency Operation Centre (EOC). The role involves managing disaster-related information flows, supporting emergency coordination, data management, reporting, and operational support in collaboration with internal departments, government agencies and Red Cross Red Crescent Movement partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the setup and operation of the MRCS Emergency Operation Centre (EOC)
- Collecting, managing, analyzing, and visualizing disaster-related data
- Developing situation reports, dashboards, and information products for internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinating with government agencies, humanitarian partners, and MRCS State Chapters during emergencies
