Responsibilities

• Cleaning and disinfecting patient/resident rooms, washrooms, clinical areas, offices, corridors, and common spaces.
• Performing daily, discharge, terminal, and outbreak cleaning procedures in accordance with organizational and infection control standards.
• Safely handling waste, recycling and cleaning chemicals following WHMIS and safety guidelines.
• Restocking supplies and maintaining cleaning equipment and carts in good working order.
• Responding to urgent cleaning requests, spills, and service needs in a timely and professional manner.
