Overview
The Opportunity: We are currently looking for an Environmental Scientist to join our Environment Services team in a temporary position ending on June 28, 2027. Reporting to the Manager – Environmental (Hydro & Wind), you will be accountable for the provision of the Environmental Management System (EMS) and environmental science expertise with a focus on Power Generation (Hydro) across Nova Scotia Power, including but not limited to supporting Hydro and Wind Operations teams in maintaining environmental compliance and executing operational environmental studies and projects.
Responsibilities
- Supporting environmental studies and regulatory approvals, including liaising with consultants and regulators and collaborating with internal NSPI groups and Environmental Services staff
