Environmental Project Manager (Ottawa)

The Contaminated Sites Project Manager will lead risk and closure of contaminated sites across Canada as part of WSP’s Remediation Program Management team.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe and positive environment for colleagues.
• Lead a project team and take on responsibilities including:
• Preparing health and safety plans and emergency response plans.
• Preparation of proposals and cost estimates.
• Scheduling of field staff and subcontractors.
• Report writing including preparing conclusions and recommendations.
• Project accounting, tracking and reporting requirements to the terms of reference under WSP’s Master Services Agreements.
• Training junior staff in environmental practices including Phase I and II ESAs, drilling, surveying, groundwater sampling, oversight of remediation.
• Training staff on site specific health and safety.
