WSP’s Mining Environmental Approvals Team invites applications for an Environmental Permitting and Approvals Consultant – Mining.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical judgment, regulatory experience, and a practical understanding of how effects to the natural environment are addressed within mining approvals.

Your Impact

• Support and lead environmental approvals for proposed and operating mines in Ontario, with a primary focus on lands management approvals such as dams, mineral waste facilities, forestry resources, aggregate resources, access roads and transmission lines.
• Prepare and review permit/approval applications, technical reports, and environmental management/monitoring plans related to mine development, expansion, and closure planning.
