About the Role
As an Environmental Driver LGV , you’ll support front line services across the borough. This is a varied role, so you may work across waste, street cleansing, and grounds maintenance depending on service needs.
Typical Duties
- Domestic waste and recycling collections, including assisted collections, seasonal garden waste, bin deliveries, and removal of bagged waste where needed.
- Commercial waste and recycling collections.
- Street cleansing work such as litter picking, bulky waste, fly‑tipping clearance, and supporting mechanical sweeping and other cleaning tasks.
