Job Description
Primary Function of Position: Engineering technicians may evaluate, inspect, maintain, repair, design, analyze and improve various types of equipment, including electronic and mechanical equipment. Equipment technicians may have to work in different areas, such as electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Apply experience and knowledge to the optimization of equipment to achieve better maintainability, reliability, and availability of equipment.
- Perform installation, repair, and upkeep services for a variety of equipment either in the fields of mechanics and electronics.
- Carry out routine scheduled equipment service and respond to equipment faults.
- Diagnose breakdown problems.
- Work along with Equipment engineers to fit, design and integrate new equipment/component and make sure equipment is working correctly.
