Sensata is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team.General ResponsibilitiesAssist in new product design development and design upgrades to existing productsPerform engineering tests (electrical, mechanical, and product evaluation studies)Pre-test checklist procedure, daily monitoring, post-test tear-down procedureAcquire, analyze, and document dataInterpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations for future improvements.
For example, plotting data and looking for anomaliesKnowledge of Data Acquisition SystemsPerform device failure analysis if neededAbility to read prints.
Knowledge of GD&T is a plusKnowledge of measurement methods, such as CMMPerform studies to validate internal measurement systems (Gage R&R, MSA)Must have working knowledge of basic statistics (mean, sigma, Cp, Cpk, etc.)Design and develop fixturesMachining skills based on 2D prints or 3D models.
