Engineering Technician (Aguascalientes)

Sensata is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team.
General Responsibilities
Assist in new product design development and design upgrades to existing products
Perform engineering tests (electrical, mechanical, and product evaluation studies)
Pre-test checklist procedure, daily monitoring, post-test tear-down procedure
Acquire, analyze, and document data
Interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations for future improvements.
For example, plotting data and looking for anomalies
Knowledge of Data Acquisition Systems
Perform device failure analysis if needed
Ability to read prints.
Knowledge of GD&T is a plus
Knowledge of measurement methods, such as CMM
Perform studies to validate internal measurement systems (Gage R&R, MSA)
Must have working knowledge of basic statistics (mean, sigma, Cp, Cpk, etc.)
Design and develop fixtures
Machining skills based on 2D prints or 3D models.
