Engineering Team Leader

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a small product team of 3-5 engineers (backend and frontend).
• Spend 30% of time on management work; the rest on product development.
• Participate in hiring processes for team and peers.
• Lead onboarding of new engineers.
• Serve as spokesperson for team: manage dynamics and bring out the best in everyone.
• Provide continuous and constructive feedback.
• Help the team grow continuously and support each direct report’s career.
• Provide guidance and coaching.
• Redesign engineering delivery using autonomous agents as the default execution layer.
• Propose and operationalize agentic workflows end-to-end (spec → plan → execute → verify) to deliver outcomes faster.
• Build reusable agentic workflows and primitives in the codebase for cross-domain reuse.
