Engineering Operations Technician (EOT)

Job Summary

For Amazon's data centers in Canada, the Building Operations Technician will oversee maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment to maintain >99.999% uptime and support mission‑critical servers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
• Respond to electrical and mechanical incidents affecting availability.
• Support data center equipment such as standby diesel generators, switchboards, UPS, PDU, AHU, CRAHU, CRAC, pumps, motors, VFD, and building automation systems.
• Drive innovation while reducing operational costs.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain an active Reliability Status security clearance with the Government of Canada.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
