Job Summary

One of our clients in Abu Dhabi is looking for Engineering Manager (Drilling & downhole completion tools).

Key Responsibilities

• Core Product Experience: Complete engineering design and validation ownership of downhole tool assemblies, including:
  • Hydraulic and Mechanical Liner Hangers (featuring string rotation capabilities during cementing).
  • Integrated Liner Hanger Packers (with pocket‑type slips, anti‑premature setting mechanisms, balanced pistons, and bonding elements).
  • Downhole Setting & Running Tools (Hydraulic release, mechanical release for heavy strings, and hydro‑mechanical tools with heavy‑duty clutches).
  • High‑Pressure Packers & Plugs: Single/double grip retrievable packers, extended reach seal bore packers, drillable/retrievable bridge plugs, and cement retainers.
  • Float Equipment and cementing accessories.
  • Required Design Software: Advanced modeling using PTC Creo (...
