Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with and promote TPI’s mission, vision, and values.
- Develop continuous improvement plans within their areas of responsibility.
- Supervise engineering activities to ensure efficient use of human and material resources.
- Organize and oversee continuous improvement projects related to quality, cost, efficiency, 5S, etc., using leadership skills to meet project objectives.
- Select, develop, and train personnel as needed.
- Focus on maintaining a safe operation by immediately addressing identified risks.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures necessary to meet departmental objectives.
- Regularly monitor engineers’ performance metrics and support continuous improvement within the department.
- Coordinate engineering resources to ensure production requirements are met during regular and overtime schedules.
