Job Description
AECOM is currently seeking an Engineering Intern for a new position expected to start in September 2026. This will be a 4-month term. The position will be based out of our Kitchener, Ontario office.
Responsibilities
- Prepare civil design calculations and drawings for Roadways, infrastructure, municipal utilities
- On-Site Civil inspections
- Design for municipal infrastructure using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation
- Inspect all phases of construction to ensure that the work is carried out in accordance to specifications regarding material requirements, alignment, grade, finish, compaction, etc.
- Document the site conditions, equipment, material installations, quantities and the work being performed by the Contractor
