Engineering Designer - Harness component

Qualification, Experience and Competency requirements: B.E./ B. Tech in Electrical/Electronic/Automotive Engineering with Automotive Industry experience Preferred Experience: Essential: 4 years of relevant experience in Design & Development of automotive wiring harness components (Connectors, wires, Coverings, Clips etc.,) Manufacturing & Assembly Plant exposure, Supplier/customer management, Launch support Good knowledge in design basics, vehicle packaging studies, Architecture, and statutory requirements, etc. Knowledge in Automotive Quality Systems (DFMEA, PPAP, DVP&R, etc) Cross functional experience in Design and program management will be an added advantage Roles & Responsibilities (Not limited to) Source packaging document including Engineering specifications, timing, Validation New Supplier development Responsible for Component selection Responsible for DFMEA & DVPR - Component level & System Level Active engagement in System level integration testing Responsible for processing...
