Job Overview

Reporting to the Senior Engineering Supervisor, Mining, a Mine Engineer or Mine EIT is responsible for working with a group of professionals to support mining operations and utilize digital mining technology to optimize safety, productivity, and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies.
• Influence strong site decision making through detailed data analysis and sound mining practices.
• Perform economic evaluations, productivity analyses, estimate coal releases, and generate coal blending plans.
