Responsibilities
Equipment Automation Development
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Equipment Automation Programs (EAP) for assembly and test manufacturing equipment
- Implement equipment integration using industry-standard protocols such as SECS/GEM
- Support equipment recipe download/upload, remote control, and process parameter management
Factory Integration
- Integrate new production equipment into the factory automation ecosystem
- Collaborate with equipment vendors to develop and validate automation requirements
- Perform equipment buyoff, qualification, and factory acceptance testing
- Ensure seamless data exchange between equipment and manufacturing systems
Production Support
- Provide 24/7 support (on-call when required) for equipment automation issues impacting production.
