Engineer, Inspection (Inspection Team - Pipeline)

Job Purpose

Supervise and carry out inspection, testing, analysis, review and repair as planned to control and monitor corrosion on pipelines, associated piping, structural equipment and gas compressor stations. Review project related documents to meet end user involvement requirements.

Job Specific Accountabilities

Supervise and carry out all on-stream and shutdown inspection activities for stationary equipment, pressure relieving devices, corrosion monitoring, and investigation of failures.

• Identify areas of concern and propose dedicated inspection procedures to follow up their resolution to improve pipeline integrity.
• Witness pressure tests on equipment and valves after repair and during start-up, including hydrostatic and pneumatic tests, analyse observed conditions and provide recommendations for remedial action.
