The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an Engineer in Training (EIT) to join the Mines Technical Services Team in Thompson, Manitoba. This is a permanent position.
In this role, you will manage the maintenance of our 24‑month rolling schedule in Deswik, ensuring production targets are set and conflicts are scheduled out. You will collaborate with peers in engineering and cross‑functionally with all other areas of operations.
Additionally, you will:
- Update stope designs using Deswik mine design software.
- Update development designs for accessing the ore body and other infrastructure.
- Ensure proper assignment of backfill to stopes for forecasting consumables.
