***The **_Mechanical Engineer _**supports new product development for the company's Thermal global products.The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the physical design and/or thermal system design of new products.This engineer must be a practical hands-on type of engineer who can start with an abstract concept and see it through to product launch.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Creates/modifies mechanical Parts/Assemblies/drawings in CAD systems, such as Creo and/or Solid Edge.
- Create and maintain Bill of Materials and unit configurator logic to select the correct BOM's based on options selected by the customer.
- Works with Marketing, Manufacturing, Service and Quality to understand their requirements to design a product that best meets all of their needs.
- Assist with prototype builds by providing technical support and providing guidance when issues arise.
