Job Description WSP is a global leader in engineering, advisory, and science‑based solutions. We are seeking an Engineer, Bridges and Civil Structures to join the Burlington Bridge Group in Ontario.
Opportunity This position will assist with the inspection, preliminary, and detail design of bridges and other civil structures for federal, provincial, municipal, and private clients across Canada.
Reporting to the Burlington Bridge Group Manager, the Engineer will work with a highly qualified team on bridge planning, inspection, evaluation, rehabilitation, new design, and project administration.
Your Impact
Carry out inspections and preliminary and detail design of bridges, culverts, retaining walls and other civil structures on assignments of moderate size, scope, diversity and/or complexity.
Prepare engineering drawings.
Prepare form of tenders, quantity take‑offs and construction cost estimates.
