Job Description

We are looking for an Engineer to join our Secure Products Group (SPG) in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will have a primary focus on New Product Development (NPD) and sustaining engineering for Microchip’s SPG. The ideal candidate will think critically and strategically, communicate effectively, influence others, and have strong problem‑solving and technical skills.

The Product Engineer is a key part of the Product Development team, closely collaborating with cross‑functional groups that include Product Design, Test Engineering, Quality, Failure Analysis, Yield Enhancement Engineering, and others to deliver high‑quality security products to the market. Microchip’s Secure Products Group develops and supports a line of cryptographic hardware products for automotive, IoT, medical, consumer, and industrial markets.
