Endoscopy Technician

Responsibilities

Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, anticipating needs and providing instruments and support to ensure smooth operations. Monitor patients x27 vital signs and assist in patient care before, during, and after procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report any issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as needed to prevent shortages and ensure efficient operations. Educate patients on pre‑ and post‑procedure care instructions, answering questions and providing support.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an endoscopy or related healthcare setting is preferred. Experience in working with a variety of endoscopic equipment, including scopes, processors, and related accessories.
