Job Overview
District School Board of Niagara invites applications for Employee Relations Officer (Non‑Union Administrative Management Group). Two positions are available: one permanent full‑time (35 hours per week) and one temporary full‑time (12 months, with possibility of extension). The role reports to the Manager of Employee Relations and provides strategic advice on labour relations matters, including employee misconduct, legislative requirements, collective agreement administration, and performance management.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice to Board management on labour relations matters.
- Conduct workplace investigations related to harassment, misconduct, and other issues, collecting relevant information, interviewing parties, and presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
