Employee Assistance Program Coordinator

Reporting to the Director, Employee Assistance and Respectful Workplace Division, the Employee Assistance and Respectful Workplace Program Coordinator provides a range of professional supports to employees of government departments and agencies and their immediate family members. The incumbent works with considerable independence and demonstrates advanced critical thinking and judgment in dealing with highly ethical, complex and sensitive issues; works as part of a professional team and collaborates with stakeholders to deliver supports and services of the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Respectful Workplace Program (RWP); delivers consultation and advisory services, clinical assessment, counselling and service referrals for personal, work related and family related problems; provides professional counselling, trauma support and crisis intervention for clients in significant distress along with coordination of services and case management; supports a range of sensitive and ...
