The Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) is a UBC teaching hospital and one of two tertiary hospitals in Interior Health. It serves a catchment of approximately 250,000 people and has 273 beds.
Role Overview
Emergency Medicine physicians are sought to join a 32‑person group offering full‑time and part‑time positions, with locum opportunities available. The role includes working under an APP contract for emergency care and a MOCAP contract for the Trauma Team Leader program, scheduled at 14 shifts per month for full‑time physicians.
Teaching & Learning
Physicians will have the opportunity to teach medical students and residents, as RIH serves as a UBC site for the Faculty of Medicine. Participation in monthly journal clubs, quality rounds, and trauma rounds is also expected.
Qualifications
