Emergency Medical Technician, Ambulance – Full‑time temporary

Salary

Pay Band Emergency Medical Technician Ambulance: $32,302 to $39,497 per year.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls for service as per dispatch instructions, providing assessment, treatment, and transportation of ill or injured persons.
• Provide pre‑hospital and community care to area residents consistent with the standards of care, policies, and legislation regarding medical services.
• Work days, nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Valid Canadian Class 4 driver's licence.
• International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) certificate.
• Registered or eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body.
• Eligibility for membership in HSAS (HSAS members will be given preference).
