EHS is recruiting casual Emergency Communications Officers (ECO) in Peace River. The role requires excellent communication, listening skills, and composure under pressure. As the calm, confident voice on the phone with 911 callers, you will collect information to dispatch emergency crews, transcribe calls quickly and accurately, prioritize tasks on the fly, and relay essential information. Candidates undergo a multi‑step screening process and must be able to commit to a 20‑week full‑time training schedule, including 6‑8 weeks of classroom training and a 10‑12‑week on‑site practicum.
