Embedded Software Engineer

We're looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join a defence and security technology company, working on mission-critical embedded systems.

This role requires:

• Minimum 5 years' hands-on C/C++ software development


• Proven experience in embedded software (not web/app development)


• Experience working within a safety-critical software environment


• BEng (Computer Engineering) or equivalent BSc

You'll be doing:

• Translating system requirements into software specifications


• Writing test cases and technical documentation (V-Model process)


• Developing embedded and application-level C/C++ code


• Software verification, validation, and defect resolution


• Providing technical leadership for a small Agile/Scrum team
