Role Overview
In this role you will work on design, validation, and certification of gas turbine engine control systems and associated components for Pratt & Whitney Canada gas turbine engines. This position requires a strong understanding of electronic control system design for engine electronic control units and the application of sensors and actuators associated with turbine engine control systems.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Review, evaluate, and develop supplier designs of powered electronic and passive electrical accessories needed for aircraft engines.
- Create specifications and apply technical knowledge.
- Plan and coordinate with suppliers as required.
