Electromecánico (a) (Playa del Carmen)

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and inspection.
• Identify and operate shut‑off valves and utility shut‑offs for equipment and buildings.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved communication programs and standards.
• Display basic knowledge (or ability to acquire knowledge) in air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation and general building.
• Perform surface preparation, painting, drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement, and cleanup of the repair area.
