Electrician – Small Equipment

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain small electrical equipment (e.g., hand tools, portable generators, small pumps, compact cutters).
• Perform preventive maintenance: inspection, cleaning, lubrication, insulation checks, and minor part replacements.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults (wiring, switches, relays, connectors) using multimeters and basic test rigs.
• Ensure HSE compliance: lock‑out/tag‑out (LOTO), safe handling of tools, and housekeeping.
• Coordinate with stores for timely spare procurement; elevate recurring faults to Maintenance Engineer.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience repairing small electrical tools/equipment in industrial/construction settings.
• Solid knowledge of basic circuits, safety standards, and test instruments.
• Ability to read simple schematics/wiring diagrams.
• UAE experience preferred; Arabic is an advantage.
