Electrician Apprentice – Calgary

Wesbell is seeking an Electrician Apprentice at our Calgary location. This position is responsible for assisting Journeyman Electrician and Master Electrician with all A/C electrical work to support the installation of telecommunication equipment. Travelling is required for this position.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities Include

This position is responsible for performing or assisting in performing, under the direct supervision of a 309A licensed Electrician, the following:

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of electrical equipment installations.
• Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, distribution switches, breaker panels, conduits 1” – 2” EMT, install fire alarm components, teck cable and service cables, and ensure compliance with Ontario Electrical Standards Act.
