Electrician : Afternoon Shift ( 3PM to 11 PM)

Electrician – Brantford, Canada. Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Hourly rate: $48.43 plus a $1.00 shift premium.

This position is based in Brantford, Canada. The Electrician is proactive; responsible for troubleshooting, preventative and overall maintenance and repair of process and production equipment.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure all work is managed in such a way as to adhere to the HACCP and GMP policies/processes of a food manufacturing facility.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust electrical equipment including PLC and motor controls, safety sensors and relays.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electronic system faults.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment in accordance with standardized procedures.
• Maintain close communication with other employees (Mechanics, Packaging Technicians, Process Operators, Refrigeration Technicians, etc.).
