Electrical Technician

Job Overview

A large sized Consulting company with branches across South Africa is looking to hire an Electrical Technician to be based in their offices in the Northern Cape for at least 12 months. Accommodation will be provided.

Requirements

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• 2 – 5 years’ experience in the design of electrical building services and electrical infrastructure
• Computer and software skills in Word, Excel and Revit respectively.

Responsibilities

• Electrical engineering draughting and/or modelling work in Revit, MicroStation and Caddie.
• Electrical engineering calculations (i.e., illumination, volt drop, fault levels, earthing, etc.) in Excel.
• Project administration (i.e. minutes, project schedules, payment certificates, general correspondence, ISO 90001 quality management system, etc.)
• Site works (i.e., assist with surveys, quality control inspect...
