Job Description As an Electrical Specialist – Ship Repair you will be responsible for preparing complete engineering information packages for electrical repair work. The incumbent will conduct onboard inspections, validate technical requirements, coordinate with production, planning, and procurement teams, and ensure compliance with maritime standards and client specifications. More specifically, you will:
Prepare and validate complete work instructions, sketches, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical data for electrical repair activities.
Interpret client specifications and translate them into actionable, sequenced work packages.
Conduct detailed onboard surveys to identify existing electrical equipment, installation conditions, and required modifications.
Manage and update electrical engineering BOMs, and communicate material needs to the Planning and Procurement Departments.
