We are recruiting on behalf of a global engineering and consulting client for an Electrical Engineer – Substation to support projects across the . and internationally. This role focuses on delivering electrical protection & control and physical substation designs, ranging from small distribution facility upgrades to large transmission projects. The position offers a unique opportunity to influence the resiliency, reliability, and economic operation of the electric grid.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of high voltage electrical substations (13kV – 500kV).

  • Develop proposals, project scopes, conceptual designs, and execution plans.

  • Prepare engineering cost/labor estimates and project schedules.

  • Design physical substation layouts, including yard arrangements, grounding, lightning protection, control building arrangements, AC/DC power systems, and raceways.
