Electrical Engineer – Hospital Building Maintenance Job Description
- Maintain and operate hospital electrical systems including LV / MV switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, and power distribution systems .
- Ensure reliable power supply to critical areas such as ICU, operating theatres, and emergency departments.
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems and emergency backup power.
- Ensure compliance with electrical regulations from the Energy Market Authority and workplace safety standards by the Ministry of Manpower.
- Coordinate with contractors and biomedical teams for maintenance and installation of electrical and medical equipment.
