Objective:
Lead and oversee the commissioning, testing, energization, and start-up of electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operation before plant handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the pre-commissioning and commissioning of electrical systems, including HV, MV, and LV equipment.
- Verify electrical installations against approved drawings, specifications, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and applicable standards.
- Plan and supervise testing, inspection, and energization of electrical equipment and distribution systems.
- Conduct or witness electrical tests, including insulation resistance, continuity, transformer tests, protection relay testing, cable testing, and functional testing.
- Coordinate the energization sequence of substations, switchgear, MCCs, transformers, UPS systems, generators, and auxiliary electrical systems.
