Stantec's Power team is seeking an Electrical Engineer with at least six years of experience in high voltage substations. In this role, you'll perform engineering studies, detailed designs, and ensure the successful execution of projects. You'll also have the chance to mentor junior engineers while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and conducting site visits as required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct insulation coordination and grounding engineering studies
• Design switchyard layouts, cable routing, and distribution systems
• Develop technical specifications for major equipment
• Coordinate with procurement and construction teams
• Ensure compliance with internal QA/QC standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, ideally in Power Systems
