Electrical Designer - Data, Fire and Security Systems

Overview

SSOE is seeking a motivated Junior Electrical Designer – Data, Fire & Security Systems to join our Advanced Technology Strategic Business Unit. This role is an exciting opportunity for an early‑career designer to contribute to the design of complex, technology‑driven facilities while developing expertise in low‑voltage systems, incl. structured cabling/data, fire alarm, and security systems. Working alongside senior designers and engineers, you will use ACAD/Revit to convert engineering concepts, markups, and project requirements into accurate, coordinated design deliverables. You will receive hands‑on guidance and mentorship while building a strong foundation in system design, applicable codes, multidisciplinary coordination, and quality‑focused project execution.
