The Role
The role of Electrical Designer within our Calgary office comes with a variety of different responsibilities, interacting with the team, clients and supporting project execution from a design perspective. This position reports to the Automation Team Leader .
Key Responsibilities
- Preliminary electrical control system design development and costing
- Review of facility electrical drawings, plot plans, and P&ID to generate automation and electrical designs
- Prepare and review electrical engineering calculations and drawings including Electrical plans, load lists, single line diagrams, area classification, motor control schematics, voltage drop, lighting calculations, Arc flash studies, device coordination, power distribution, panel design, I/O drawings, junction boxes, power and grounding, instrumentation layout drawings, cable schedules, network diagr...
