Electrical Designer (Automation)

SUMMARY Our client is seeking an experienced automation Electrical Designer to join their team in Burlington, ON. This role plays a critical part in delivering engineered electrical solutions for automated laboratory systems within engineered-to-order (ETO) projects. The successful candidate will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal system performance, safety compliance, and project success from design through execution.

QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in electrical design or engineering environments

Heat generation analysis experience

Power distribution calculations experience

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Strong AutoCAD experience (latest version)

Strong knowledge of domestic and international electrical codes

ERP systems experience and maintaining part items

Industrial network infrastructure experience
