Electrical Design Lead Winnipeg

Responsibilities

Lead electrical engineering efforts on major studies and EPCM projects in mineral processing. Prepare and review labor, material, and cost estimates for project planning. Develop equipment specifications and evaluate technical bids from vendors. Perform and verify electrical calculations, including short circuit and voltage drop analyses. Review vendor drawings and resolve technical issues as needed. Participate in factory acceptance testing and provide construction-phase engineering support. Manage project schedules, manpower forecasts, and resource planning. Ensure integration of electrical design with other disciplines in complex facility layouts. Prioritize safety, technical assurance, and HSE compliance in all design activities. Communicate technical solutions clearly and provide mentorship and leadership within the team. Job Requirements
