Electrical Compliance Specialist

We have 2 full‑time permanent Electrical Compliance Specialists positions in the Maintenance Department. Reporting to the Manager, Electrical Services, the specialists are part of a team of electrical professionals responsible for planning and developing multi‑year asset management plans for electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain current knowledge and disseminate changes to CEC, CSA, OSHA, National Building Code, NFPA 70E, ULC S536 & S524, and all BC Safety Authority Regulations.
• Collaborate with all levels of Government Electrical Authorities to stay up‑to‑date on applicable codes.
• Conduct inspections and audits of all electrical areas to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with project managers and consultants on electrical compliance projects, including monitoring all project phases, reviewing external consultants’ recommendations, and performing site inspections.
