Electrical and Lights System Engineer – Modelling and Simulation

Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid) seeks an Electrical and Lights System Engineer – Modelling and Simulation. The role is part of the Electrical and Lights System Department, where we specify, qualify, certify electrical and lights equipment and integrate it into the electrical and lighting systems of Airbus Defence & Space platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and model complex electrical architectures, including power distribution networks and control logic for electrical and lights systems.
• Perform virtual failure tests to simulate electrical failures within the system.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper functionality of their equipment in the electrical network.
• Use simulation tools to provide evidence that justifies compliance with programme requirements.
• Participate in all engineering lifecycle activities.
